Member of the Political Bureau of the DFLP, Saleh Zeidan, said that the 13 Palestinian factions taking part in the PLC elections believe that the elections should be held on their scheduled date. He added that Palestinian residents of Jerusalem must be allowed to participate and take part in the democratic process.

Zeidan reported that all factions have agreed to form a coordination committee, headed by President Abbas, to deal with any obstacles regarding the election process.
