The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine ( DFLP) has welcomed the Salvadorian decision to move its embassy from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv.

A spokesperson of the DFLP said that it viewed the move as an international rejection of the Israeli policies of war and assaults, as well as a rejection of the Israeli violation of international resolutions.

The spokesperson called on the Arab states who have relations with Israel to pay attention to that international current which represents the position of the entire world, rather than the Arab and Muslim position only. He said that this was an appropriate moment to isolate Israel and to force it to yield to international legitimacy, including UN resolutions affirming the illegality of Israeli measures in Jerusalem
