A Recent report released by the The IOF troops killed 44 Palestinians, wounded 183 and arrested 481 others during the past month of May. 15 of those killed were victims of Israeli occupation assassination policy, according to a report issued by the National Information Center.

The report pointed out that the month of May was the more violent of the year in terms of the number of aggressions and the weapons used in those aggressions citing the IOF aggression that took place in Ramallah.

The report also pointed out that the incursion into Gaza, which resulted in the death of 4 Palestinians, was the first since the withdrawal of the IOF.

The IOF also continued to impose closures through the setting up of hundreds of roadblocks on the main roads and entrances of Palestinian towns and villages, according to the reported.

It was also pointed out in the report that the IOF incursions involved 715 population centers and that 747 permanent and temporary roadblocks were set up. It was added that 43 dunums (4.3 acres) of Palestinian land were arrogated and 20 Palestinian homes were occupied during the month of May.

During the same month 20 attacks were carried out by Jewish settlers against Palestinian residents of nearby towns and villages.

It was also pointed out that the Israeli artillery shelling of the northern Gaza Strip continue causing loss of life and property in addition to spreading terror, especially amongst children and women.
