In a colloquium held in Gaza Saturday several Palestinian politicians confirmed the necessity to put an end to the case of lawlessness in Palestinian areas.
Participants in the colloquium organized by the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, stressed the importance of the PLC elections and ending what they referred to as "favoritism and political and administration corruption."
DFLP political bureau member, Saleh Zeidan, said that the new Palestinian Legislative Council will carry several responsibilities and have difficult issues to deal with. He included in that list corruption and lawlessness. He also spoke about the role of Palestinian women in the political arena.
Central Committee of the DFLP, Ziad Jargoun, spoke regarding the coalition with the Palestinian People's Party (PPP), in the upcoming elections. He stressed the importance of ending lawlessness in Palestinian communities in the Gaza Strip, West Bank, and East Jerusalem.
