The Occupier’s Crimes Continue in Gaza and the West Bank
November 3, 2005

The Hebrew state is intensifying its aggression against the Palestinian people, committing new crimes and murders in Gaza and the West Bank – all under the pretext of eliminating the leaders of the resistance.

The Zionist Special Forces are carrying out surprise attacks against Palestinian activists in some villages of the West Bank; at the same time, its air force is flying over Gaza air space launching rockets against all types of targets, causing death and panic among the public.

The total number of Palestinian deaths during this latest wave of aggression continues to be unknown, though on Thursday, October 27, an air incursion to the north of Gaza resulted in the loss of nine Palestinian lives; fifteen others were wounded.

During the funeral for the martyrs who fell in this recent massacre, thousands of citizens cried out against the murderous policies of Israel and demanded an immediate response from the resistance forces.

On their part, organizations making up the resistance called for the closing of their ranks, as they vigorously condemned the new wave of Zionist aggression. These groups threatened the break of the truce and affirmed that any response to Sharon's crimes is a right of the Palestinians to protect themselves as a people.

While Israel demanded to the resistance to cease its actions against the occupying forces, the Zionist nation continues murdering, arresting people and destroying houses and planted plots of land in the Gaza and the West Bank.

Since this past March in Cairo –when Palestinians announced the acceptance of a truce with the condition that Israel halt its acts of aggression– the Zionist government has murdered 120 Palestinians and imprisoned hundreds more.

The international community, which always points to the Palestinians to stop the violence, has not yet put any pressure on the Hebrew state – despite that nation’s openly announcement of its warlike plans against the Palestinian people.
