To all the youth of the World

After 40 years of unjust Zionist aggression, during the Six Days’ War, crimes against the Palestinian peoples continue to be committed today with total impunity, while the imperialist super-powers led by the United States maintain a hypocritical attitude and allow the Israeli government to carry on with its genocidal policy against our brothers and sisters in Palestine.

With profound indignation, we, the Cuban youth, express our most energetic condemnation of the acts which are perpetrated on a daily basis by the Israeli Army against the civilian Palestinian population which has suffered the losses of thousands of lives, especially children. These crimes can only be compared to fascist barbarism whose only aim is to exterminate this valiant people so that the dream of creating an enlarged Middle East, with Israel as the lackey bowing down to the imperialist powers, can be realized.

Cuban youth demands an immediate cessation to the violence, the unconditional withdrawal from occupied territories and the restitution of East Jerusalem as the capital of the state of Palestine.

It is essential for us to continue to demand that international bodies find a definitive solution to the conflict, that they put an end to Israel’s hegemonic pretensions and that the Palestinians are guaranteed the full exercise of their legitimate right to return to their land, self-determination and the liberation of prisoners and hostages, many of whom are children.

We the people of Cuba, especially the young people and students, reaffirm once again our complete and unconditional solidarity with the struggle of the heroic Palestinian people; we urge the international community, in particular the imperialist government of the United States, to speak out against the crimes committed day after day and to demand the Palestinian nation's full right to an enjoyment of peace and independence with full self-determination.
