Democratic Front Categorically Condemns Declaration of the Palestinian National Authority to Reduce the Role of Resistance Weapons.

In response to the declaration issued by the Palestine National Authority (PNA) regarding resistance weapons, an official spokesman of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) stated the following:

The DFLP condemns and categorically rejects the declarations of the PNA that reduces the role of resistance weapons and reaffirms the legitimate right of the Palestinian people to resist the occupation by all means as long as Israeli forces remain in occupied territory with its soldiers and colonists.

The spokesman added that pursuant to objective of protecting national unity and the legitimate right to confront the occupation, the DFLP demands the immediate halt the premeditated efforts to confuse weapons used for criminal activities with those of the resistance. He said that the resistance forces are being accused of being responsible for chaos when in fact the security apparatus of the of the PNA is the primarily responsible for disorder.

The spokesman affirmed that the resistance weapons will continue to be raised against the occupying forces and the colonists until: all territories occupied in 1967 are liberated, an independent and sovereign Palestinian State is created with Jerusalem as its capital, and the right of the refugees to the return to their homes is recovered.
