The Democratic Front calls for unity and measures against the bloody Zionist government

Terrorism organized by the Zionist state is increasing against our people in the Gaza Strip and those under occupation in the West Bank. After continued murder and bloody invasions has come the cutting off of electricity, energy, food and a war of extermination – without rejection by the international community and with the backing of the North American empire.

The crimes that the occupiers shamelessly commit ignore International Law and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Faced with this situation and acts of aggression against our Palestinian people, we call for:

- firmness against the occupier, through national unity and the creation of a solid resistance front and the overcoming of internal divisions.

- the Arab countries to pull out their ambassadors from Tel-Aviv and to close Israeli commercial and economic offices in their capitals.

- the National Palestinian Authority to suspend the peace negotiations until the acts of aggression cease and the blockade imposed against our people is lifted.

- the Security Council to impose sanctions against the occupying Zionist state by virtue of United Nations Article 7, as occurred with the now-overthrown racist government of South Africa.

- for parties, unions and all forces of liberation and Arab progress to take to the streets, to press their governments to boycott the bloody government of Olmert, to force him to lift the blockade imposed against our heroic people in the Gaza, and to stop the spilling of blood in all of the occupied territories.
