Statement

No to Discrimination Among Prisoners

* We call on the Palestine National Authority (PNA) to provide a public list of prisoners from all organizations without discrimination
* We call for a broad mobilization of those detained in the jails of the occupier to break the Zionist policies of discrimination among prisoners

The official spokesperson of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine states:

The PNA has announced the acceptance by the Prime Minister of the Government for the occupation forces to free 150 Palestinian prisoners during the first week of the month of Ramadan.

The DFLP warns that discrimination among prisoners by the Government of Olmert is designed to sow the seeds of division within organizations of the Resistance, the ranks of the people and the prisoners themselves.

We urge the PNA to present a list that includes prisoners belonging to all the different forces, announcing the list to our people and the world, and rejecting the policy of discrimination practiced by the Zionist Government in the latest liberation of prisoners (150), from which were excluded members of the Democratic Front and the Islamic Jihad.

We call on all prisoners in jails of the occupier to mobilize in order to break through the policy of discrimination.

We call on all Palestinian organizations to join the political and popular campaign in our occupied homeland to guarantee the freedom of our prisoners without discrimination as to their political affiliation.
