The Democratic Front has presented the names 140 martyrs for a prisoner exchange operation and calls for the receipt of the remains of heroes of the Revolution

The agreement for a prisoner exchange, which includes the remains of martyrs, is a new achievement and victory that adds to the liberation of southern Lebanon in 2000 and the Zionist occupant's defeat in 2006; it also represents the latest failure of aggressive Israeli policies against people of Lebanon and Palestine.

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) announces that it has presented a list of 140 martyrs who fell in battle on Palestinian soil and in south Lebanon in heroic military actions against the occupation force.

The list included the names of martyrs of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, the armed wing of the DFLP, who carried out major actions against the occupying army and whose remains are still being held by Israel.

The DFLP affirms that up to now Israel has only presented numbers —without names— and that details are expected concerning the exchange operation. The organization also announced that it is maintaining daily communication with the leadership of the fraternal Hezbollah group and that it will offer more information, additional names of martyred heroes, and, later on, will provide a complete listing of all of the martyrs of the DFLP.

The DFLP, while it prepares to receive the remains martyrs of that organization and of the Palestinian Revolution, fighters who fell courageously in battle against the Zionist occupant, it calls on Palestinian people in the refugee camps in Lebanon and appeals to the resistance organizations to receive them in a united way. It also calls for flags to adorn this event under the slogan of continuing the resistance until achieving the objectives for which thousands of martyrs sacrificed their lives. Likewise, the DFLP reaffirms the decision to pursue the struggle for the release of all prisoners in the Zionist enemy’s jails.
