* No to a Palestinian State with provisional borders
* No to a "declaration of principles" and the lost 16 years of the Oslo Accords
* Global political negotiations on all of the components of the conflict: Jerusalem, the borders, the settlements, the refugees, security and a stable peace
The official spokesperson of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine states:
In preparation of the international meeting called by President Bush for next November, there was a meeting -- without any result -- between Abbas and Olmert, in which all that was created was a common committee to search for the "foundation of a Palestinian State."
The big question is: What State and what borders?
We reject another "declaration of principles" and 16 years that were lost with the Oslo Accords.
The Intifada of our people, the loss of 16 years of partial negotiations and security, the monopoly and the partition accords which collapsed and took us to confrontation and 'Somalization,' demand that we forsake the dead end policies.
Now is the time for a new policy and global negotiations concerning all of the components of the conflict, under the supervision of our people. A policy founded on the Document of National Reconciliation and the resolutions of the Central Council of the PLO, which place conditions on what to include on the work agenda before an international meeting -- including Jerusalem, the borders, the settlements, the refugees, security and a stable peace -- to unmask Olmert's maneuvers and plans.
The international meeting according to Bush agrees with the plan for a provisional Palestinian State and ignores the United Nations resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative regarding the borders, the settlements and the refugees. Besides calling for the annexation of large blocks of settlements throughout Israel, with respect to the Bush-Sharon letters of April 2004.
We warn the PNA not to fall into the trap of the Bush-Olmert maneuvers and call for an international peace conference for the Middle East, organized by all parties of the conflict, without exception, and based on legally-binding international resolutions.
